The Engineering Challenge
Inconsistent spot-weld depths on thin-gauge battery casings resulted in thermal failure tests during battery packing. Reject rate was 7.2%.
The Custom Solution
Implemented Hyper-Sync servo drives to coordinate precision electrode pressure. Added real-time optical scan tracking with closed-loop feedback to the weld controller.
